The Boeing AI Applications and Innovations is searching for an Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer to work within a cross-functional team in developing next generation generative AI, perception and prediction solutions for aerospace applications. Your work will increase the quality, safety and efficiency of processes that drive the aircraft product lifecycle. Your creative and intellectual skills will be used to develop innovative, nonstandard advanced machine learning algorithms and applications for engineering, production build and test operations. Additionally, you will develop data engineering tools and pipelines to filter, organize, and understand text, parametric system data, imagery, and other forms of data collected during the aircraft product lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity derived from the aircraft product lifecycle.
Apply the latest machine learning, artificial intelligence technology from across industries, academia, and government.
Build, train, and productionize cutting-edge ML models.
Develop data engineering pipelines for large aerospace data sets.
Implement software development best practices to enable product deployment.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)
3+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada.
3+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, including the ability to integrate AI-driven insights into data architecture and analytics processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Proven experience with performing verification and validation for AI and machine learning algorithms.
Experience with software development best practices.
Strong technical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
Desire to collaborate and innovate in an Agile software development environment.
Experience with mobile application development (Android/iOS).
Travel 10% of the time
