Build & Release Infrastructure Engineer
Target total compensation ranges from $245,000 - $260,000, including a fixed annual salary of $170,000 - $185,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.
As a Build & Release Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be a hands‑on contributor within Rokt's core platform engineering team. You'll collaborate closely with senior engineers to evolve and maintain our build and release systems, ensuring our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code workflows, and artifact management processes are reliable, secure, and lightning‑fast.
What you'll do
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (Buildkite or equivalent) to ensure efficient, reliable build and deployment workflows.
Support and evolve container build pipelines using Docker/ECR, Helm charts, and Kubernetes‑based release processes.
Contribute to infrastructure automation via Terraform and infrastructure‑as‑code best practices.
Enhance the artifact management ecosystem (e.g., Nexus), ensuring secure and performant package delivery.
Collaborate with engineers across teams to streamline developer experience, improve reliability, and optimize release velocity.
Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to maintain high system availability.
Partner with senior engineers to implement new tooling, processes, and standards that scale with Rokt’s growth.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release, or Platform Engineering.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerization and deployment.
Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Working knowledge of Linux systems and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Curiosity, ownership, and a drive to automate everything.
Strong communication and collaboration skills—you enjoy solving problems as part of a team.
