Job Description
EDGE Program, Technical Sales and Consulting Rockwell Automation\'s Technical Sales and Consulting Program is a world-class, multi-month training program that combines sales, technical and professional training in classroom and on-the-job settings. You will join a cohort of peers from around the world to become a trusted outcome-based seller. There are two tracks available: Associate Account Manager and Associate Technical Consultant. This posting is for the Associate Account Manager role. After completing the training program, Associates are placed in a field sales office across North America.
Your Responsibilities:
Associate Account Manager:
Build relationships with producers and work with customers, systems integrators, and industry partners to solve challenges. Develop and implement sales plans to meet annual sales goals and grow market share. Build relationships at assigned accounts and grow customer spend with Rockwell Automation. Work with customers exclusively through digital platforms (email, LinkedIn, phone, and video conferencing). After completing the training program, Associate Account Managers are based in a field sales office in the US and call on customers across North America.

The Essentials – You Will Have:
Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university

A valid US driver\'s license
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
3.0 cumulative GPA
Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, our Partner Network, or our customer
Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or other similar technical degrees (graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026, or within the past 3 years from Spring 2026)
Previous co-op or intern experience in manufacturing, product marketing, or a customer-facing role
Must be location flexible
Experience and knowledge with technical skills and/or domains
You quickly understand complicated subjects and enjoy explaining them clearly
You recognize customer needs and provide insights in proposing solutions and facilitating change
You can balance competing demands for your time, ensuring partner expectations are managed
You request constructive feedback
You seek out and embrace relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or making a decision; you show clear understanding of multiple viewpoints
You can distill information from different data sources to tell the \"story\" behind it and make recommendations for next steps

For this role, the Total Target Compensation is from $84,000 - $88,000 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
