AF Solutions Senior Clinical Specialist – Watchman™ & FARAPULSE™
As an AF Solutions Senior Clinical Specialist, you will play a vital role in transforming patient care by supporting Boston Scientific’s groundbreaking technologies— Watchman™ and FARAPULSE™. In this field-based position, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to drive clinical adoption, support education initiatives, and help expand our presence across a defined territory.
Responsibilities
Educate current and potential customers on the safe and effective use of Watchman and FARAPULSE technologies through compelling presentations, hands‑on training, and clinical support
Travel regularly to hospitals and clinics to assess customer needs, deliver procedural support, and guide physicians on best practices for patient care
Build strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders to identify opportunities for therapy adoption and market expansion
Collaborate across cross‑functional teams—sales, marketing, clinical research, and training—to deliver strategic insights and implement territory‑specific plans
Champion new product launches and act as a resource for competitive intelligence within the electrophysiology and structural heart space
Support market development initiatives by connecting with key opinion leaders, external fellows, and referring physicians to promote awareness and utilization
Contribute to talent development and mentor new team members as needed, while embracing Boston Scientific’s inclusive and high‑performance culture
Monitor clinical trial activity in your area, including interest visits, site initiations, and protocol education
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures by maintaining current knowledge of clinical trial protocols and standards
Participate in on‑call coverage as required to support critical case needs
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or equivalent education and experience.
Must demonstrate technical aptitude, and ability to discuss & explain complex technical product information.
MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.
Salary Base annual range: $70,000 to $105,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and core and optional benefits offered at BSC. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience, education, licensure, and certifications.
