Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Generalist to join our manufacturing team. This dual‑role position is responsible for processing payroll and supporting human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Duties:

Process weekly and bi‑weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP.

Maintain accurate payroll records and reports.

Handle payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Enter third party sick pay into system.

Enter benefit information into payroll.

Process 401(k) and HSA information and transfers.

Coordinate with Finance for payroll‑related reporting and audits.

Process leave reporting and paperwork, including FMLA, disability, workers compensation, paid family leave, etc.

Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees.

Maintain employee records and HRIS systems.

All aspects of recruitment.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.

Assist with employee relations, performance management, and policy enforcement.

Participate in safety and compliance initiatives relevant to a manufacturing environment.

Prepare compliance testing, 5500, EEO1, and ACA information.

Qualifications

Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business.

Experience: 35 years of experience in payroll and HR, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with ADP payroll systems; strong Microsoft Office skills and Excel.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR compliance, employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.) and payroll regulations.

Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion and excellent work ethic.
