Role Summary

The Director, System Planning is responsible for planning and developing projects to build or expand crude oil, produced water, natural gas and natural gas liquids midstream assets. Responsibilities include estimating costs and schedules, preparing engineering designs, hydraulic analyses, bid packages, construction specifications, purchase orders, and coordinating and supervising all aspects of project development and implementation. The role also supports fund appropriation, cost tracking, and progress reporting to internal stakeholders and customers. Responsibilities

Work with Commercial and Operations teams to develop scope for new projects or facility improvement proposals and prepare cost estimates for various alternatives. Prepare authorization documents to appropriate funds for sanctioned projects. Solicit design input from customers and internal stakeholders, design project facilities, perform HAZOP reviews, and ensure all designs comply with industry codes and Company policies. Maintain current knowledge of midstream and producer activity in relevant basins. Stay informed of technological trends, including ESG and sustainability topics. Continuously monitor performance of existing assets and develop concepts to further improve and optimize assets. Collaborate with Land and Regulatory teams to obtain necessary right‑of‑way, permits, and approvals for new facilities. Coordinate project implementation with the Construction team, develop project implementation plans, and manage internal and external resources. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (civil, electrical or mechanical) required. 10+ years of post‑degree work experience preferred. Oilfield experience, preferably related to pipeline facilities, preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of gas and liquid hydraulics, ANSI and ASME standards, 49CFR195 and 49CFR192 codes, and API standards. Knowledge of gas compression design and installation. Ability to travel in lower 48 U.S. states. Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engender constructive cooperation from support staff and customers. Excellent analytic, problem‑solving, team building, and project management skills. Excellent computer skills regarding Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
