Remote Senior Accounting Manager (Partnership Track opportunity) (Aggressive Comp + Equity) Rapidly growing (Financial/Business Advisory and Accounting/Consulting Firm) seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Manager. They're offering a (Partnership Track opportunity), work-life balance, and a very competitive compensation plan consisting of both (bonus and equity). This full-time opportunity will support the Manhattan, New York office. (Remote or in-office) opportunity Responsibilities
Assist our clients with and oversee staff accountants with (SEC audit and review preparation, monthly financial closings, assistance with accounting procedures, review of back office and accounting staff work and assessment and improvement of financial processes and internal controls Prepare and review financial statements for both the public and private sector including disclosures for audit, review and compilation engagements Assume responsibility of the efficiency of performance for engagements Develop and maintain client relationships Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 7 years of public accounting experience Bachelor' s degree with a focus in Accounting. CPA Required. Knowledge of SEC accounting especially for smaller reporting companies
A comprehensive understanding of debt and equity transactions including BCF’s, derivatives, options, warrants, etc. preferred Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 a plus
Excellent knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles Preparation of financial statements and related notes Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Possess outstanding project management and analytical skills; must be able to prioritize Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written About The Firm
