STAFFING COORDINATOR
keeps all hospital units fully staffed so personnel can properly care for patients.
Responsibilities The Staffing Coordinator manages the shift master scheduling software system, adjusting staffing levels based on census fluctuations, call‑ins and pre‑planned leaves to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. This position is a key contributor and a member of the Nursing Management Team and reports directly to the Director of Nursing.
Core duties include:
Review shift levels and census data daily
Schedule nursing staff, adjust for call‑ins or absences
Communicate staffing changes to unit leaders
Collaborate with the Nursing Management Team on staffing policy
About Roxbury Treatment Center Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has served behavioral health and substance use issues for 41 years. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112‑bed facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification and rehabilitation services for adults and an adolescent inpatient program for youth 13‑17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications Education High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.
Experience Preferably a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a hospital with staffing/scheduling responsibilities for all shifts for clinical and nursing personnel. Will consider business office or human resources experience in a health care setting or any combination of education, training or experience in a hospital business office.
Licensure Must maintain a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
Additional Requirements Successful completion of CPR, Handle with Care, and Verbal De‑escalation training. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
