The Admissions Call Specialist is responsible for coordinating aspects of the admissions process including handling inquiry calls, processing referrals for possible admission, and communicating with referral sources and customers who present for assessment. Additional responsibilities may include assistance with patient registration, patient observations, scheduling of evaluations, bed board monitoring, belongings searches, and other non-clinical duties as assigned. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or any related Human Services field required. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in substance abuse/psychiatric treatment programs or call center/crisis intervention settings. EEO Statement
