Manager or Senior Manager - Global Location and Expansion Services (AMCS - GLES)

to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice. Responsibilities

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver Credits and Incentives consulting services, including but not limited to identifying and securing cash grants, income tax credits, payroll withholding tax credits, sales tax reductions, property tax abatements, training grants and credits, infrastructure funding, and utility discounts/rebates; contribute to building practice infrastructure and expertise Team with members across Accounting Methods and Credit Services, State and Local Tax, Washington National Tax, and other KPMG service lines to provide comprehensive tax consulting services Serve as the primary client contact for credit and incentive projects, building strong relationships and developing business and industry expertise; identify new business and credit and incentive opportunities; assist with proposal development and presentations Advise clients on credit and incentive strategies, secure credit programs, and negotiate incentive packages with government agencies Lead and manage multiple client credit and incentive engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results, including tax technical research, benefit calculation, preparation of forms and tax technical memoranda, and support for ongoing compliance requirements Train, mentor, and supervise junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience, including experience in credit and incentive services is preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; recruiter can provide the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access; experience performing internet research; exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information Ability to travel and work at client locations, as needed Additional Qualifications for a Senior Manager
