Overview

Senior Procurement Analyst role at Tulane University. Reporting to the Procurement Technology Lead, the Senior Procurement Analyst performs data management, eProcurement catalog enablement, process management, process execution, system support, troubleshooting and problem resolution to support P2P and Supply Chain activities. Responsible for review, verification, documentation and testing to ensure systems and business processes are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. The Analyst provides data analysis to support evidence-based decision making and communicates results to multiple audiences through summary reports, dashboards, and interactive data displays. Responsibilities

Perform data management and analytics to support P2P and Supply Chain functions. Enable eProcurement catalog management and related process execution. Provide system support, troubleshooting and problem resolution; ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Collect, integrate and analyze data from multiple P2P functional areas; apply analyses such as descriptive statistics. Produce clear statistical findings and disseminate results via summary reports, dashboards and interactive displays. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in teams on complex data systems, including relational databases; strong problem-solving skills. Thorough knowledge of P2P and Supply Chain Management related to eCommerce; ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud Business Financials knowledge preferred. Solid knowledge of Procurement; proficient in dashboard/visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences; strong relationship-building and customer service skills. Understanding of business processes, business process analysis, integrated application workflow, permissions and user roles. Familiarity with catalog management for eCommerce or demonstrated equivalent understanding. Required Education And/or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to research or data analysis (statistics, information sciences, social sciences, finance, etc.). Five years of directly related work experience involving education data, ERP-retrieved data, large-scale national education datasets, relational databases, and complex hierarchical datasets.
