A Day in the Life The Senior Area Innovation Manager (AIM) is a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy (GI) sales position. The individual will call on MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers (ASC), physician offices, and will support their assigned geographic area. The AIM aligns with internal and external stakeholders to execute and accelerate meaningful outcomes for strategic organizational initiatives and will serve as a customer-facing product expert. This position will primarily focus on protecting and expanding the utilization of Medtronic artificial intelligence through the GI Genius platform by executing market development and sales-oriented activities. Individuals will be expected to transfer knowledge and best practices to accelerate this technology\'s adoption to the greater sales force. Additionally, the individual will be expected to develop solutions to a broad range of issues at the account level requiring a high degree of cross-functional interactions and leadership capability, with only high-level guidance. We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver\'s license is essential for this role. This role covers multiple states and is ideally based in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Boise, ID or Sacramento, CA. This role involves significant travel (75%) including overnights. Position Responsibilities

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by driving product adoption through the delivery of clinical and economic value of Medtronic AI platforms Expertise in artificial intelligence trends including market positioning of GI Genius and macroeconomic factors that influence decision making in AI in healthcare Understand the current and future AI competitive landscape, including non-AI technology designed to improve patient outcomes; position Medtronic AI platforms as the market leader Target, convert, and install new GI Genius accounts at enterprise MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, and ASCs Define direction for new products (primarily GI Genius) and operational plans based on strategy, with significant impact on work group results; integrate GI portfolio into GI Genius sales processes with documented sales achievement Represent the organization as a primary contact for projects; identify and leverage internal and external customers and vendors; negotiate and influence decisions Develop the sales and clinical organization in the assigned territory by sharing GI Genius product expertise and sales knowledge; success measured by product quota achievement Develop solutions to complex problems and improve processes, systems, or products independently to enhance performance Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth Establish relationships with healthcare executives, physicians, and key opinion leaders in the territory where procedures are performed or influenced Interact with physicians and hospital leaders to close sales and drive ongoing utilization of the company\'s solution-based software technology as cleared by the FDA and appropriately regulated Understand healthcare economics and deliver targeted messaging to validate the value proposition of Medtronic AI platforms Initiate and lead engagements with internal cross-functional leaders to accelerate and close the sales process Significant travel required – 75% Clinical Excellence

Deliver clinical value of Medtronic AI platforms, including published evidence and disease pathways Provide clinical product demonstrations and education in accounts to increase customer understanding Demonstrate disease state expertise for products\' use Articulate clinical and journal articles in relevant disease states, regardless of study outcome Administrative Excellence

Maintain CRM knowledge and present pipeline and forecasts Complete administrative responsibilities (expense reports, sales reports, etc.) Complete online training within assigned timelines Adhere to Medtronic code of conduct Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree required Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services Nice to Have

Enterprise-level technical sales in life sciences, healthcare, or software (SaaS, PaaS, SaMD) preferred Proven sales success with quarterly and yearly quotas (e.g., President\'s Club or top performer) Demonstrated clinical, technical, and business excellence with GI Genius Strong written and oral communication skills Proficiency in O365 and Salesforce.com Ability to build relationships across functions Experience in medical device/equipment sales and selling to physicians in procedural settings Life sciences/medicine-focused degree; ability to multi-task and work independently Additional Information
