Senior Business Development Manager
to lead their commercial growth. The Role In this senior role, you’ll take ownership of identifying and securing key partnerships across the sports performance ecosystem—think pro clubs, collegiate programs, leagues, and training facilities. You’ll drive revenue through direct sales, channel partnerships, and global expansion, playing a pivotal role in positioning their GPS tech as the gold standard in athlete monitoring. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a growth strategy targeting elite and amateur sports teams, federations, and performance facilities Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to closing and onboarding Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clubs, academies, and sports governing bodies Identify new business opportunities across domestic and international markets Collaborate with product and customer success teams to align product offering with client needs Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and high-level meetings Report directly to the executive team and contribute to go-to-market strategy About You 7+ years of business development experience, ideally in sports tech, wearables, or performance data solutions Proven track record of closing high-value deals in the sports or health tech industry Deep understanding of the athlete development pipeline and sports performance needs Strong network across pro and semi-pro teams, collegiate programs, or federations Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Passion for sport, athlete performance, and innovation in training technology Bonus Points Experience selling GPS or wearable performance products Background working with strength & conditioning, performance, or coaching staff Familiarity with sports science or data analytics platforms What They Offer Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives Health, dental, and vision benefits Flexible, remote-friendly work culture The chance to shape the future of athlete performance with a world-class team Seniority level
