Job responsibilities
Quality product support including receiving inspection and verification, final product inspection and batch release certifications, internal audits, quality documentation, and records activities.
Support the management team and production associates to ensure established product/component requirements are met.
Provide component and material inspections and final product inspections to ensure production and R&D schedules are met.
Act as a liaison between Operations and Quality departments.
Support the Internal Audit Team to perform scheduled audits.
Requirements
College or technical college education preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment preferred.
Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Competency with handheld dimensional inspection equipment and automated test equipment.
Competency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience performing or programming inspections with a CMM preferred.
Experience in open dimensional inspection setups is a plus.
Ability to follow written instructions and procedures; strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
GD&T knowledge and Zeiss machine knowledge are preferred.
