is currently hiring for an experienced Project Scheduler to join our expanding Project Management and Scheduling practice. This position is primarily located on-site with our client in Washington, DC and is metro accessible. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate on a team managing the implementation of a major Federal IT project. Utilize generally accepted scheduling best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify detailed tasks, durations, dependencies, and resources to build the schedule. Develop a dynamic project schedule with minimal task constraints. Perform Critical Path Analyses (CPA). Document schedule progress updates and modifications. Assess schedule performance and advise the team and client on status and corrective actions. Track actual vs. planned/forecast vs. baseline. Create tracking reports from MS Project for various management levels. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree. 5-7 years of experience managing complex integrated master schedules (IMS) with multiple work streams. Expertise in MS Project Professional (2013). Ability to pass client security clearance requirements. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong consulting, communication, and writing skills. Experience creating and maintaining MS Project schedules with over 1,000 tasks and external dependencies. Experience scheduling for federal government systems or software programs. Knowledge of EVM principles; experience with EVM is a plus. Experience with MS Project Server. PMI certification (PMP, CAPM, or PMI-SP) is advantageous but not required. CHEVO
