About the Team
Responsible for the implementation and management of a Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for Aftermarket Commercial Vehicle parts. Reviews and adjusts forecast as needed with materials management, operations and sales / customer facing teams. Ensures timely procurement of inbound materials and monitoring of inventory levels in support of customer requirements. The position will sit at the Hebron, KY location.
What you can look forward to as Demand Planner
Lead S&OP locally and integrate to divisional and global S&OP processes
Review forecast trends and alerts to determine adjustments required
Review demand history / fluctuation along with known upcoming demand changes with sales and customer facing teams
Review lost sales and service level misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
Create, monitor and drive improvements through supply chain metrics
Manage supplier tracking, delivery performance and improvements
Provide input to inventory planner / MRP settings as needed to cover demand variation
Track and provide feedback on inventory KPIs
Use of traditional and advanced spreadsheet modeling tools
Monitor critical suppliers for capacity issues & long-term planning
Manage constrained items to internal resolution and communication of shortage issues
Your profile as Demand Planner
Associates degree, Bachelor’s degree Supply Chain or Business preferred
Three to five years of supply chain related experience
Experienced in ERP systems
Must be highly analytical with strong computer and spreadsheet skills
Ability to develop and manage supplier metrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to participate on a team
Problem solving skills and ability to prioritize with a sense of urgency
Ability to manage projects and coordinate/lead meetings
Understanding of and ability to apply the TS16949 standard
