GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNER SOUTHFIELD, MI Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Logistics, the Global Demand Planner will be responsible for the global forecasts of the assigned customers. The goal is to improve forecast accuracy by working collaboratively across functions through a structured S&OP process, ultimately driving efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Development activities includes, but are not limited to:
Manage global customer centered S&OP process to develop a set of recommendations on forecasts, which includes:
Lead monthly discussions across Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, finance, sales, PM, and purchasing) to review forecast performance variance and develop recommendations for forecast changes
Present recommendations to Lear's leadership team for alignment and approval
Work externally with customers and internally with cross-functional teams to manage program SOP and EOP
As the forecast owner, support internal and external discussions as required

Data analysis and developing demand forecast proposals - 40% (internal/external customer sales performance, market intelligence, etc)
Meetings with internal cross functional teams for data collection and demand alignment - 30%
Prepare and lead EOP/SOP meetings - 15%
Meetings with customers for demand insight - 10%
Hold meetings for proposal review and alignment - 5%
Your Qualifications (minimum requirements)
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 4 years of supply chain experience
Minimum 2 years of demand management and/or supply planning experience
Additional Skills and Experience (beneficial but not required)
MBA or Master\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management
CSCP or other APICS Certification
Experience with automotive industry, electronics a plus
Broad supply chain experience, including operations, customer and supplier facing roles
