Overview
The
Contract Analyst
is responsible for the review and processing of designated contracts in accordance with the Hospital's Contract Review and Approval Policy, as assigned by the Director of Business Development and Contract Management. The incumbent will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure business needs for contracts are clearly understood and accurate. In coordination with applicable departments and stakeholders, the internal legal counsel, and other external resources, the incumbent is responsible for preparing and negotiating designated contracts, obtaining execution thereof, and other responsibilities under the Contract Review and Approval Policy.

Responsibilities
Manage contract lifecycle process for professional/clinical services, physician services and other services contracts. Assist department stakeholders in the process of managing new contract requests, renewals, renegotiations, amendments, terminations and other actions.
Collaborate with department stakeholders and accounting functions to establish processes for compliance with compensation and operational terms for designated contracts. Serve as a resource for accurate interpretation of operational terms.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the Director of Business Development and Contract Management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Required and 5-7 years experience including contract management/negotiation experience.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Experience in drafting and interpreting complex contract language, and basic understanding of healthcare terminology and operations. Attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment.
Highly motivated team player with excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Master's Degree Preferred

Starting Pay The pay range for this job begins at $31.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with their manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
