Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting, sales analysis, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to Associates on customer/member service approaches to ensure customer/member needs and issues are resolved within Company guidelines and standards. Oversee implementation of and participate in community outreach programs; encourage Associates to serve as good members of the community. Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center by analyzing reports, implementing and monitoring asset protection and safety controls, and directing Associates in ensuring confidentiality of information and records. Provide supervision and development opportunities for Vision Center Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Ensure provision of quality eyewear by educating Members/Customers, assisting with product selection, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidential information, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining Optical equipment. Uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates, researching issues, reviewing policies and procedures, and suggesting resolutions. Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning and adaptability. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company mission and ethics through action plans and guidance on applying them in business processes and practices. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws/regulations. Preferred Qualifications: Supervising Associates.
