We are currently seeking a Consumer Loan Title Specialist to join our team at our East Orlando Support Center. This position is the primary title contact for all vehicle and autos and does not work with mortgages. Experience working in an automotive dealership or tag office is preferred. This role serves as liaison between state and local tag offices, other state tag offices and our members.
Your Role In Our Mission
Coordinate loan files and send to the tag office to complete the title work.
Research title information for members, dealers, other financial institutions, local tag agencies and state agencies.
Complete title transactions for members, dealers, other financial institutions including letters of guarantee, foreign title requests, and lien releases.
Communicate both verbally and in writing with service centers and members to provide quality service and assistance in overcoming obstacles within state guidelines.
Analyze periodic audits of collateral to ensure proper documentation and timely processing.
Develop, implement and maintain up-to-date procedures on employee intranet within State guidelines.
Serve as a backup processor creating loan documents, booking applications, and providing support and assistance in the daily processing of consumer loans.
What Makes You a Great Fit
2+ years of experience in automotive title processing, automotive dealership, or tag agency/DMV environment required
Working knowledge of state vehicle title and registration regulations; ability to research and interpret state-specific requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and process documentation accurately and efficiently
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with members, dealers, tag offices, and internal teams
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve member and dealer concerns within regulatory guidelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn financial systems and loan processing software
