We are seeking an experienced
IAM Specialist
to manage and enhance identity and access management processes for a leading financial services organization in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, efficient, and compliant user access across enterprise systems while supporting regulatory and cybersecurity requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage user access lifecycle including provisioning, de-provisioning, and role changes for employees, contractors, and vendors. Implement and maintain IAM policies, procedures, and standards aligned with financial regulations (e.g., FFIEC, SOX). Administer and configure IAM platforms such as
SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, or RSA . Perform periodic access reviews, certifications, and compliance reporting. Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to enforce least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) policies. Support multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance initiatives. Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents and access issues promptly. Assist in audits, documentation, and reporting for regulatory and internal compliance. Required Qualifications & Skills: 3–7 years of experience in IAM, preferably in the financial services sector. Hands-on experience with IAM platforms:
SailPoint, Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, RSA, or similar . Strong understanding of access management, RBAC, PAM, SSO, MFA, and SoD. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as
SOX, FFIEC, PCI-DSS, and GLBA . Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field. IAM certifications such as
SailPoint IdentityNow/IIQ, Okta Administrator, Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or CISSP . Experience with cloud IAM (Azure AD, AWS IAM, GCP IAM).
