Engineering Technician IV – Applied Materials

Base pay range:
$33.00/hr – $45.65/hr
Shift Schedule:
10‑hour shifts (7:00‑17:30, 18:00‑04:30) or 12‑hour shifts (7:00‑19:30, 19:00‑07:30). Gap 1 on days.
Key Responsibilities
Execute complex electro‑mechanical technical functions: design, test, fabrication, checkout.
Fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble electronics and electro‑mechanical systems.
Test system‑level and component‑level problems with minimal supervision.
Develop and implement documented procedures, write technical reports and test procedures.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms.
Observe all safety standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications
Advanced analytical/scientific expertise in complex work.
Good understanding of team coordination and resource alignment.
Leadership potential: guide junior technicians, allocate work.
Problem‑solving: identify and solve unprecedented problems.
Interpersonal: effective communication and diplomacy.
Shift Assignment 10‑hour shifts; 7AM‑5:30PM & 6PM‑4:30AM.
12‑hour shifts; 7AM‑7:30PM & 7PM‑7:30AM.
Physical and Cleanroom Requirements
Stand for extended periods, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, squat, twist, kneel, reach, climb stairs and ladders, lift.
Use hand and power tools; operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
Cleanroom: wear coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, face shields.
