Base pay range: $39.00/hr - $53.45/hr Time Type: Full time Employee Type: Assignee / Regular Travel: No Key Responsibilities

Perform complex electro-mechanical technical functions including design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, specialized test equipment, tools and test fixtures. Test and troubleshoot system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems with minimal supervision; apply technical knowledge to solve difficult problems. Possibly perform more complex new system and NPI installations and field upgrades. Work from limited or no documentation; investigate, compile data, document and recommend changes using applicable reporting processes to enhance product performance. Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation; assist in revising, developing and implementing documented procedures; write complex technical reports and test procedures. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum and process testing on AMAT platforms to engineering and manufacturing documentation and specifications. Ensure safety standards are observed; maintain a safe and clean work environment; participate in required health and safety training and report incidents as needed. Provide technical input to management to address problems at system and manufacturing process levels; interact across departmental lines. Provide training to lower-level Engineering Technicians; act as a technical resource for a platform or product; contribute to development of procedures and documentation for NPI; may serve as a Quality Lead. Qualifications and Skills

Full understanding of the company’s manufacturing and/or engineering processes; excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface across teams. Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to junior staff when needed. Strong problem-solving skills; able to exercise judgment to identify and resolve problems with minimal precedent. Ability to influence the effectiveness of own team and closely related teams. Effective interpersonal skills; clear communication and diplomacy in interactions. Other Requirements

Physically demanding position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and operating tools; ability to distinguish colors; tolerance for noise; driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts. Clean room work may be required, with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
