Module Assembly Manufacturing Engineer (Onsite)
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Module Assembly Manufacturing Engineer to support the North Berwick facility's on-time delivery goals.
What You Will Do
Interpret approved technical data such as blue prints, web assembly drawings, table of limits, quality assurance documents, Pratt & Whitney America specs, etc., which will flow down into process work instructions
Perform FECC (First Engine Configuration Check), FCCA (First Configuration Check Audit) and controlled builds
Perform temperature differential calculations, torque process and basic assembly processes; review tool designs, mark-prints, issue request forms, track tool changes and corrections; perform necessary gage correlations; familiarity with write in’s, swaps, and work order processes
Create, modify and update work instructions in HMS and Solumina; support and assist in TAT reductions, on-time delivery goals and ergonomic improvements
Complete PPAP package and work Manufacturing Readiness Levels
Review engineering "hold" items and provide floor support on a daily basis and determine proper course of action; develop new equipment, process and troubleshoot problem operations
Be available for off-shift coverage based on business requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years' experience in engineering, operations management, manufacturing, quality or closely related environment OR a Master’s degree and 1+ year of experience
Experience managing multiple competing priorities
Experience reading and interpreting blue prints
Secret Clearance OR be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer
Engineering degree (aerospace/manufacturing/mechanical/industrial)
Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN or Six Sigma Green Belt
Working knowledge of assembly processes; CAD experience is preferred
Familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, HMS and Solumina for Assembly

Salary range: 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The range is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Compensation offers consider role, responsibilities, experience, location, education, and skills.
