We are seeking a Construction (Telecom) Manager who will be responsible for managing all distribution (DF) projects in the Charlotte, NC market. Salary:

Read and interpret construction documents. These documents will include prints, permits and plans as well as splicing diagrams that are used in the splicing of fiber optic cables. Review designs with the crews, municipalities, and customers Review preliminary construction prints from right-of-way authorities and determine potential conflicts Attend utility coordination meetings and construction progress meetings as needed Develop required project documentation identifying project goals and tasks and generating assignments Arrange internal employees or vendors to perform work and issue purchase orders as needed Ensure that vendors have called in locates prior to starting work on site Create and provide a construction schedule to the property and customer Communicate scope of project with Warehouse Manager and arrange for material pick up and/or drop off Verify materials prior to sub picking up and arrange materials storage at the work site Work with OSP supervisors to monitor contractor progress and quality inspection, and timely turnover of assigned projects Ensure workforce compliance with all safety regulations including OSHA requirements Ensure the project aligns with objectives Review close out packet folder daily and address issues with supervisors Oversee project cost and review pre-invoicing prior to finalizing Redline any port changes and communicate to the team Work with Regional Administrative teams and Supervisors to ensure quality of work standards are met Review photos as part of Quality Check and address any concerns Communicate any charge backs to subcontractors Interact with customer representatives regarding work completion and resolve conflicts Sign off on all work completed and share information with Prince leadership and the customer Oversee maintenance of field vehicles and equipment Oversee the Drive Cam Program for all employees on the team Hire, train and coach team members Perform other duties as assigned Who we are looking for
3 years management experience in the telecom/construction space Excellent customer service skills Excellent oral and written communications skills Valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum) Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions Experience in HDD drilling or other similar telecom plant construction space Equal Opportunity
