We are seeking a Construction (Telecom) Manager who will be responsible for managing all distribution (DF) projects in the Charlotte, NC market.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000/yr (based on experience)

What you will do
Read and interpret construction documents, including prints, permits, plans, and splicing diagrams used in fiber optic cable splicing.
Review designs with crews, municipalities, and customers; coordinate and communicate project scope and schedules.
Review preliminary construction prints from right-of-way authorities and identify potential conflicts.
Attend utility coordination meetings and construction progress meetings as needed.
Develop project documentation outlining goals and tasks and assign work accordingly.
Arrange internal staffing or vendors to perform work and issue purchase orders as needed; ensure locates are called in prior to work.
Create and provide construction schedules to the property owner and customer; coordinate material pick-up/drop-off with the Warehouse.
Verify materials prior to pickup and manage on-site storage; monitor contractor progress and quality inspection with OSP supervisors.
Ensure safety compliance with all regulations, including OSHA requirements.
Manage project objectives, close-out processes, and cost oversight; review pre-invoicing before finalizing.
Redline port changes and communicate updates to the team; collaborate with regional administrative teams to uphold quality standards.
Review photos as part of quality checks and address any concerns; communicate charge-backs to subcontractors.
Interact with customer representatives to resolve conflicts and sign off on completed work; share information with Prince leadership and the customer.
Oversee maintenance of field vehicles and equipment; supervise the Drive Cam program for team members.
Hire, train, and coach team members; perform other duties as assigned.
Who we are looking for
3 years management experience in the telecom/construction space.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Valid driver’s license (class "C" minimum).
Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
Experience in HDD drilling or other similar telecom plant construction space.
