Provide engineered drawings for HVAC control systems. Review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects. Prepare accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using Visio. Size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and related components for HVAC systems. Design systems with typical DDC control lines (e.g., Schneider Electric, Tridium, or equivalent). Write and understand the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems; assemble submittals and O&Ms for projects. Qualifications

Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 3-5 years of relevant experience. 4+ years of experience in controls design engineering OR 8+ years as a controls technician. Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, HVAC, sensors and signal types, and controls requirements. Familiarity with common control sequences including ASHRAE Guideline 36P. Experience drafting control drawings in Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent. Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Ability to handle a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Preferred But Not Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 2-4 years of relevant experience. Experience designing control systems using Schneider Electric EcoStruxure and SpaceLogic. Working with Us
