Deployment Services Engineer – GDC Solutions

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated

Deployment Services Engineers

with strong expertise across hardware and software technologies. This role involves leading complex deployment activities, working closely with customers, and ensuring successful delivery of

GDC (Google Distributed Cloud) solutions . The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage deployments end-to-end while effectively communicating with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and validate

GDC air-gapped instances

within customer or partner facilities. Train customer deployment teams and support

Train-the-Trainer

programs to ensure scalable global training delivery. Gather and validate all required deployment artifacts. Lead technical conversations with customers, identifying

risks, dependencies, and action items . Inspect and validate GDCH (Google Distributed Cloud Hosted) and

end-user Operation Infrastructure Core (OIC) hardware . Perform

bootstrapping of OC/OIC

and establish network connectivity between GDCH and OIC. Execute

GDCH bootstrapping, software installation, and services cluster setup . Validate hardware and software functionality and provide smooth deployment handoff. Onboard and train end-users to effectively operate GDC solutions with minimal support. Troubleshoot and manage GDC solutions post-deployment, ensuring operational readiness. Key Skill Profiles We Are Looking For Windows Sysadmin Compute & Storage Administrators Program/Project Management Expertise Strong Customer Communication Skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). Proven experience in

infrastructure deployments, system integration, or cloud-native technologies . Strong knowledge of

networking, Kubernetes, compute, storage, and system administration (Linux/Windows) . Experience with

large-scale enterprise deployments

or distributed systems is highly desirable. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Objective of the Role Enable customers and partners to operate

GDC solutions effectively with minimal vendor support . Build customer confidence in troubleshooting and managing GDC solutions independently. Scale training delivery through

Train-the-Trainer programs , empowering global trainers to deliver high-quality training.
