This role focuses on delivering high‑quality control for power generation projects, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, vendor requirements, and company standards.

Essential Responsibilities
Review customer specifications and identify exceptions or clarifications during proposal development.
Lead project quality planning, including the incorporation of special manufacturing or quality control requirements.
Ensure vendor and subcontractor quality documentation meets company and customer standards.
Approve subcontractor quality plans, welding procedures, and other manufacturing procedures.
Monitor weekly inspection reports from third‑party inspectors and provide corrective actions as needed.
Develop ASME Code data packages and assist subcontract managers in resolving manufacturing or quality control issues.
Coordinate audits, surveillance inspections, and planning inspections at subcontractors.
Travel may be required, including international assignments.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university; welding or metallurgy degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in steel fabrication, welding, and heat treatment for power generation equipment.
In‑depth knowledge of ASME Section I, VIII, B31.1, AISC, B31.3, and AWD D1.1 codes.
Quality control experience with the ability to obtain lead auditor certification.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials or demonstrated ability to achieve certification.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for project quality requirement communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and process flow software.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and respond quickly to deadlines.
Salary Base pay range: $75,000 – $95,000 annually.
