Responsibilities & Duties Provide leadership in operations, coaching team members, acting as SME, facilitating communication, collaborating with operators and support functions to develop and execute plans to win each shift.
Essential Responsibilities
Leadership and coaching: provide effective feedback, mentorship, guidance for operator development and training.
SME and process improvement: champion, lead, execute equipment, reliability, or process improvement projects; provide process specific guidance.
Win the shift: conduct line loss analysis and throughput improvement plans; analyze shift data; investigate root causes; develop plan for shift.
Facilitate communication: report KPI’s, update metrics, partner with site leadership for critical equipment or process failures.
Collaborate and support: maintain safety & quality guidelines, records, improvement projects, support RCFA, DMS training, coaching.
Additional Responsibilities
Accountable for KHMS requirements, maintaining safety and quality guidelines.
Maintain records and reports, identify improvement projects, drive reduction of downtime, support line daily activities.
Use SAP system to enter notifications and track production requirements.
Support DMS training and coaching; serve as process area coach.
Perform all work in compliance with Kraft Heinz policies, OSHA and GMP.
Core Competencies
KHMS Pillars (PM, CI, TRIO) and DMS tools (CIL, CLM, 5S, performance boards).
Structured problem-solving tools (Fishbone, 5-why, etc.).
Skills
Strong coaching, teaching, leadership skills.
Strong time management, computer, typing, data manipulation.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Abilities
Collaborate in high stress, effective interpersonal skills.
Present to small groups, analyze large data sets.
Adapt to dynamic situations.
Prerequisites
Experience in CIL, CLM, 5S, basic problem solving (5-whys); willingness to become Yellow Belt qualified.
Career Progression Team leaders next role typically as Process Owner or equivalent leadership role.
Physical Demands Regularly stand, walk, use hands, lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally 50-100 lbs with assistance.
Work Environment Near moving mechanical parts, high noise, chemicals, fumes, slippery floors.

Lock Out Tag Out certified; maintain operator qualification.
