Job Summary

Under the direction of the Dir Facility Operations, supports the supply chain functions within the department, procedural areas and patient care areas. Focus on project work within Froedtert Hospital, but may also be assigned supply chain projects throughout the entire health system. The Leads in planning, maintaining, and setting up clean supply rooms. Analysis will be conducted in order to set proper inventory levels, and determine the correct supplies to be stocked within the STAT storeroom, in addition to all supply areas throughout the hospital. Other duties as assigned.

Experience Description

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply distribution setting is required. Experience in project management in supply chain, inventory management, and/or process improvement is required. Prior experience with Materials Management Information and Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as Infor is highly desirable. Previous Logistics experience with a good understanding of quality processes and systems, basic statistical methods, and continuous quality improvement are a plus.

Education Description

Bachelors degree in a related technical field is required. In lieu of Bachelors degree, 4 years of progressively responsible experience in distribution operations or supply chain is required.

Training Description

Six Sigma, Lean Management preferred.

Special Skills Description

Strong customer skills, verbal communication necessary to effectively interact with employees, nurses physicians and other consumers of supplies. Needs to perform independently with minimal direction, asking for guidance when needed and respond constructively. Have the judgment and the initiative for critical thinking; ability to review detailed information coming to effective conclusions that benefits the organizations supply goals. Is familiar with and utilizes process and productivity improvement principles and best practice to optimize the supply/inventory function. Have compassion to do the job to improve work flows, preferred. Be self motivated and works well independently, preferred. Experience with Lawson system is preferred.

Licensure Description

CMRP, Six Sigma or Lean Certification is highly desirable.
