Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute industrial and capital projects in a steel production environment
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Manage scope, resources, budgets, and timelines in accordance with organizational goals
Lead cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and contractors
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout project phases
Prepare and present project documentation, reports, and closeout summaries
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments
Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is required
Strong understanding of capital project execution, budgeting, and scheduling
Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a union or non‑union manufacturing setting
