This co-op will maintain the manufacturing process, improve quality of manufacturing throughput and collaborate with other engineering team members in the Madison factory. They will work on the production floor to assist production associates in removing obstacles, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. The role has some autonomy along with a dynamic priorities list, but is focused on driving key performance metric improvements across production while maintaining documentation within the scope of a regulated medical device facility. Essential Responsibilities
Co-lead process/quality improvement projects for operational excellence Support in product qualification package Opportunity to learn and execute Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to make a positive impact to the business Conduct data collection and apply data-driven analytical approaches to problem solving Exposure to power generation repair workshop machinery and operating technologies Qualifications/Requirements
Currently pursuing a Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Material and/or Industrial Engineering Competent with MS Office applications Inclusive mindset with the imagination and courage to make changes Strong communication skills Why Join Us?
