At Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Technologies (eTech) organization, our mission is to shape, develop, and mature technologies and capabilities at the speed of our customers' needs. The Converged Sensors organization focuses on advancing low-SWaP sensor technologies for radar, electronic warfare, and communications, with a goal of creating long-term, discriminating capabilities that align with Lockheed Martin's strategic vision for the Horizon 2-3 timeframes. The Work
As a Research Engineering Manager in the Converged Sensors organization, you will oversee the technical execution of research and product development across multiple engineering disciplines. Your role involves collaborating with Integrated Engineering Organizations, Chief Engineers, and Program Management Offices to ensure that project deliverables align with business objectives. You will also support Engineering Program Management (EPM) activities, track performance, adapt project plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to proposal capture efforts and develop responses to RFIs and RFPs, while managing capital investments and microelectronics strategies. Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent Demonstrated experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams including task planning, budget management, and/or employee development and mentoring Proven ability to resolve and drive complex technical issues/challenges to closure Previous L-code experience Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher and the ability to obtain Top Secret level clearance Desired Skills
Engineering Project Management (EPM) and/or Control Account Management (CAM) experience Basis of Estimate (BOE) development and proposal support experience Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and self-motivation Strong customer focus with track record of achieving outstanding customer satisfaction Top Secret Clearance level is desired Security and Logistics
