What We’re Doing

As part of our 21st Century Security vision, Lockheed Martin is investing in advancing multi-mission sensing capabilities. Our Converged Sensors team is accelerating multi-mission aperture and multi-mission processing technologies through research, development, and demonstrations. We are looking for highly talented Engineers with a passion for: Systems Engineering (Electronic Warfare) Systems Engineering (Integration & Test) Digital Hardware Design ASIC & FPGA Design Engineering

Who You Are

Below are four examples of the types of engineering backgrounds we are looking for within Converged sensors. A Systems Engineer who can design, develop, and deliver software defined Electronic Warfare (EW) mission capabilities on a product team developing and demonstrating new Electronic Attack techniques using software defined radios with an embedded compute environment. An ASIC & FPGA Engineer who will develop enabling capabilities on our Converged Sensors firmware team, performing development and firmware architecture tasks on a product team identifying, prototyping, and deploying state-of-the-art RF transceivers with high-performance embedded processors into integrated system solutions. An Integration and Test (I&T) engineer to lead cross-program test development and verification of advanced digital sensor architecture technologies; work across enterprise sensor systems and boards to develop test requirements, infrastructure, methodologies, and testing to enable transition to FlexCREW systems; strong MBSE background preferred. A dynamic Digital Hardware Engineer to lead the development and implementation of CCAs for use in advanced sensor architectures in SWaP-C constrained environments.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related STEM field Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills

Experience with embedded software development Familiarity with deploying EW capabilities on FPGAs Expertise in digital signal processing and algorithm development Prior experience in the defense industry or related field Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies Familiarity with Software Defined Radios and the VITA 49.2 standard Experience with Vitis HLS tools and concepts

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
