Overview

Sr. Field Service Technician at ABB. This role supports installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical power systems in data centers, hospitals, telecommunications facilities, and other environments requiring uninterrupted power. Responsibilities

Execute service work according to established workflows, ABB standard processes, and safety guidelines. Specializes in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS, PDU, STS, and related systems. Ensure continuous, reliable operation of mission-critical infrastructure. Build and maintain relationships with customers and identify new service opportunities. Coordinate, prepare, and ensure availability of materials, parts, and equipment meeting quality standards for service activities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. Prepare documents and reports for customers; report work done timely and follow up as needed. Proactively identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions; troubleshoot and suggest preventive measures. Suggest product and quality improvements and communicate with management to improve operations and service. Apply safety and environmental practices; report unsafe practices and incidents. Qualifications

5 years technical/electrical experience and/or relevant military experience. Willingness to travel. Experience with 3-phase (208/480 VAC) power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, panelboards, etc.). Valid US driver’s license. Work authorization to work for ABB in the US. What’s In It For You
