Associate Engineer, Reliability & Integrity
Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long‑term, low‑cost provider of American‑produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana‑based export projects serve the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long‑term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. We are seeking an Associate/Graduate Reliability & Integrity Engineer to join our team in the Calcasieu Pass Facility in Louisiana. This incumbent will report to the Principal Reliability & Integrity Engineer and will be supporting Operations, Maintenance and Engineering groups for matters relating to the plant asset integrity program. The role will be part of the team responsible for administering the plant asset integrity management program, ensuring plant operations remain program compliant and with safe, reliable and cost effective.
Job Role Responsibilities
Fixed equipment mechanical integrity initiatives:
Management of API inspections and follow‑up activities
Support Risk Based Inspection (RBI) activities
Rotating equipment reliability improvement initiatives:
Review and continuous improvement of Preventive & Predictive Maintenance equipment routines
Support efforts for transition to Reliability Centered Maintenance
Support development of “bad actor” list
Develop competency for engineering software tools and databases utilized for asset integrity initiatives (e.g. PCMS, FFS analysis, vibration analysis)
Stay current with technology developments regarding equipment integrity management
Support additional integrity initiatives as needed (e.g. pipelines, marine facility)
Support with the Management of Change (MOC) process
Support Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) risk assessments
Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
Support development and tracking of appropriate Key Performance Indicators
Provide day‑to‑day troubleshooting support to Operations Groups
Education, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline (e.g. Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite.
Familiarity with ASME, API and NACE/AMPP recommended practices.
