Arcadis is a leading design and engineering consultancy delivering sustainable solutions worldwide. We are looking for a Project Electrical Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team within the North America Places group. The role sits in the Raleigh, NC area supporting our Retail, Workplace, Transit and Education architectural practice.
Role Description In this role you will be accountable for providing first‑class solutions to internal and external clients through technical expertise in building electrical systems. You will develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings and specifications for power distribution, lighting, emergency power, controls and related building systems, supporting projects from front‑end planning to construction documents.
Accountabilities
Develop engineering reports, calculations, drawings and specifications for electrical systems.
Use Autodesk platforms and BIM tools, including Autodesk Construction Cloud, to deliver accurate documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to support project execution.
Maintain quality delivery and sustainable design practice.
Travel up to 20 % and work flexibility in a collaborative team.
Qualifications
6+ years of MEP experience in Retail, Workplace, Transit and Education projects.
Professional Engineer license in North Carolina.
Strong communication skills for client interaction.
Proficiency with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM, and related digital design tools.
Experience supporting projects with fundamental knowledge of building information modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Arcadis legacy projects or coordination with in‑house A/E resources.
Knowledge of sustainability and carbon reduction practices.
Experience in urban environments and transformative solutions.

Salary Range USD 80 000 – 130 000 per year.
