As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence across departments and shifts. You will provide technical leadership and support, empower your team to succeed by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring they have the right tools, supplies, and equipment. Safety is our top priority, and you will promote a safe work environment while ensuring adherence to safe work practices. You will proactively address personnel, mechanical, and resource-related challenges to maintain productivity and boost team morale. By ensuring compliance with company policies, Maintenance and Quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), you will help uphold our high standards. You will guide your team toward safety and productivity goals, manage labor and material costs, and oversee work orders using SAP and shift handoff documentation. Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued. Train and develop associates. Clearly explain and check to make sure others understand what is expected. Build confidence in associates and provide one on one as well as team coaching. Provide information and resources to the team to make decisions and solve problems. Keeps team members apprised regarding administrative matters, policy, procedures, team/department performance and other work-related matters that affect them through team meetings, shift start-up meetings, and one-on-one contacts. Documents incidents requiring disciplinary action. Drafts procedures, schedule team members work schedules in Kronos, schedules vacations. Fills out supply requests, maintenance requests and other administrative forms. Guide the team to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence. Ensure the systematic review of all processes and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law. Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime. Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices. Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime (PM’s, changeovers, etc.). Support site as needed. Other duties as assigned. Experience and Education Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance. Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including proven experience coaching and team development. CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification or direct experience in maintenance planning and/or supervision is preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proven leadership and planning capabilities. Proficient in computer systems; experience with SAP or AMM is highly desirable. Demonstrated problem-solving and coaching skills. Ability to understand, analyze, and clarify complex issues. Proactive in identifying and recommending new opportunities for improvement. The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $110,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
