Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Superintendent of Plant, the incumbent performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration and repair of utilities, buildings, and related facilities and equipment, including but not limited to basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural work. The specific duties vary depending on work assignments. Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, alteration, and repair of utilities, buildings, and related facilities and equipment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural work). Follow applicable regulatory standards and safety requirements relevant to hospital facilities. Interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturers technical manuals as needed. Qualifications
Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards. Current California Driver's License; ability to drive as needed and subject to DMV Pull Notice System. Ability to work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturers technical manuals. Details
