Lead HVAC Mechanic- Facility Maintenance Orange- FT Day Shift
at UCI Health. Under the supervision of the Sr. Superintendent of Plant, maintains and repairs heating and air conditioning and related systems in the medical center facility and off-site clinics. Incumbent functions as lead to be a resource for staff, ensuring appropriate scheduling and prioritization of work to facilitate good workflow. Responsibilities
Maintain and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, energy management systems, air compressors, pneumatic and electronic controls, electric driven chillers, and related equipment as part of the medical center facility and off-site sites. Serve as lead to staff, coordinating scheduling and prioritization of work to facilitate workflow and efficiency. Qualifications
Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and JCAHO standards. Ability to work overtime or alternate shifts as required to meet hospital needs. EPA Certification, or ability to obtain within 3 months. Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, shop drawings and manufacturers' technical manuals. Conditions of Employment and Benefits
