Transportation Design Engineer - Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with transportation planning and engineering studies on a variety of projects throughout Wisconsin

Prepare environmental and design documentation including report writing

Work on automated highway design, including plan preparation, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating

Coordinate with utility companies and other agencies

Participate in public involvement activities

Other duties as assigned

Requirements: Successful candidates will have:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. university

Preferred: Professional engineering license from Wisconsin

4-8 years of transportation design experience

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred

Experience with WisDOT facilities development process desirable

Applicable U.S. work experience
