Case Management Quality Assurance Specialist (Bilingual Spanish Required)
Location: Corona, California
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM)
Travel: Regular local travel for home visits
Department: Quality Assurance
Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $25.75/hr
Mission: At Inland Respite, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, high‑quality respite care to families of individuals with developmental disabilities. We support families by ensuring care services meet the highest quality and compliance standards.
Position Summary: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will connect with families receiving respite services to confirm care quality and compliance with Inland Respite standards. You will conduct home visits, monitor service utilization, advocate for family needs, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve concerns, ensuring an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and surprise in‑home visits to assess care quality and address service concerns
Complete documentation and update databases (e.g., WellSky) following visits
Perform biannual phone check‑ins and 30‑day post‑staffing follow‑ups with families
Monitor client utilization and over‑hours; report trends and concerns
Proactively engage families to prevent service termination and support retention
Coach families on requesting additional hours or services, assisting with submissions
Track unused service hours and advise on maximizing approved usage
Maintain professional, compassionate communication while ensuring HIPAA compliance
Identify and elevate high‑risk or urgent care issues promptly
Collaborate with Care Coordination and HR for timely follow‑up and resolution
Document all client interactions for internal reporting and trend analysis
Additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in human services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience working with families of individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Familiarity with Inland Regional Center processes preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, and de‑scalation skills
Comfortable conducting home and virtual visits
High accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability
Proficient in Microsoft Office, cloud‑based systems, and EHR platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
Experience with data analysis and reporting
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office‑based with regular indoor/outdoor home visits
Prolonged sitting and computer work
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Physical activities include walking, bending, and driving
Periodic travel throughout Southern California
