Remote locations available in AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV. Relocation is not provided.

Employees within a 90‑minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in‑office work guidelines of 4 days per month (10 am–2 pm, one day must be a Monday or Friday). This requirement does not apply to support specialist positions.

Job Summary & Responsibilities Our Retail Sales Team prides itself on delivering a high‑level, first‑rate experience for our clients. The client’s experience is built by first helping them understand the knowledge surrounding retirement accounts and alternative assets. From there, we guide our customers through the process of account opening from start to finish. The Business Development Manager will focus on building relationships with clients that want to invest in alternative assets such as notes and mortgages but will focus on solutions for our Real Estate‑minded clients. The Business Development Manager will travel 30‑40 percent a year.

Research, identify, and evaluate new potential business relationships across investment sponsors, investment communities, referral partners, and more.

Conduct a high volume of discovery calls, outreach through email, LinkedIn and more, with prospects for new potential business relationships to develop sources of referrals and new business for Inside Sales.

Attend conferences, local events, webinars, and podcasts to identify new opportunities for business, including potential speaking engagements.

Build strong professional relationships with new strategic partners and nurture existing relationships.

Collaborate with marketing to optimize opportunities, campaigns, content distribution, webinars, and more.

Identify emerging opportunities within the real‑estate investment, private equity, private debt, alternative asset, and retirement planning space.

Preferred Qualifications

4‑7 years of applicable experience.

Experience within the retail industry including individual investment groups, CPAs, and real estate brokers.

Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to prioritize, plan, and take initiative.

Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities.

Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tool.

Ability to work as a team member and collaborate cross‑functionally.

Pay Range $45,000‑$65,000 per year base plus potential earnings up to $65,000 in incentives.

Compensation & Benefits The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.
