Responsibilities
FT Business Office Director responsibilities: ensure efficient operations of business office; patient accounting, admissions processing, data processing, facility courtesy services; directly supervise minimum 10 employees; interview, hire, train, plan and assign work, appraise performance, reward and discipline, address complaints and resolve problems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; certification through HFMA or AEPAM (CMPA or CPAM) or equivalent education/experience.
Minimum 4 years experience in multi‑faceted business office preferably in healthcare setting; minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience.
Experience with computers and business software programs, particularly Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel.
