River Point Behavioral Health . The position is full‑time and located in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities The Business Office Director is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations of the Business Office. Tasks include accurate, timely, and consistent performance of all functions related to patient accounting (patient account maintenance, billing, and collection management), admissions processing, data processing, and facility courtesy services. The role also involves supervising a minimum of 10 employees, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining staff, and addressing complaints.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field, with certification through HFMA or AEPAM (CMPA or CPAM); or equivalent education and experience.
Minimum of four (4) years experience in a multi‑faceted business office, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Minimum of five (5) years supervisory/management experience.
Proficiency with computers and business software, particularly Lotus 1‑2‑3 and Excel.
