BAP’s Medicines Access division specialises in providing tailored access solutions to Health Care Professionals and patients. The team are experts in Early and Managed Access Programs (EAP/MAP), can source pre- and post-approval, orphan, and niche medicines to allow access and continuity of treatment, getting patients the medicines they need, when they need them, anywhere in the world. The role of the Associate Business Manager (Medicines Access) is to learn in role and under supervision of the line manager, how to plan, execute and implement Medicines Access programs, supply projects according to strict deadlines and in line with the client quote and budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan. The role will predominantly focus on ensuring Medicines Access solutions are delivered on behalf of our clients to Health Care Professionals on time, in strict adherence with all required regulations and in perfect condition. RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage projects from beginning to end with guidance from Line Manager. Liaise with project stakeholders (e.g. clients, Health Care Professionals (HCP’S), internal staff) on an ongoing basis and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely, clear and efficient manner. Plan and track project timelines and deliverables. Prepare Customer Quotes, Supplier POs and Sales Invoice. Become an adept user of BAP’s in-house Enterprise Resource Planning System. Liaise with clients to discuss their programs progress, discuss improvements and develop project trackers. Liaise with clients’ and HCP’s logistical departments to ensure supplies are delivered in accordance with program’ needs with all the relevant documents obtained and prepared for import and export of supplies around the globe. Proactively manage changes in program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. With support from Line Manager, build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Strong Interpersonal awareness, sensitivity, and diplomacy, particularly with the FDA, NJ DoH, Home Office, clients, HCP’s and colleagues. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities, reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. Adept at conducting research into program-related issues and products. Concern for standards, attention to detail and thoroughness. Flexible and adaptable. Experience and Requirements
Minimum of 1 year’s work experience in a project management capacity or customer facing role preferred. Experience in pharmaceuticals would be advantageous. Customer service skills and excellent telephone manner is essential. Competent user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of database and operating systems experience with stock control systems.
