$17/hr Position Overview
We are seeking Massachusetts-based, remote team members who are enthusiastic about customer service and support electric and natural gas utility customers. You will use your knowledge to deliver exceptional service via phone, email, chat, and SMS, primarily assisting residential and small business customers with energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. Extensive paid training will be provided. Responsibilities
Assist customers via voice, chat, email, and SMS with inquiries, troubleshooting, and warranty support Document call activity accurately Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions Attend training sessions Use client systems and websites diligently Skills & Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Empathy and patience in customer interactions Good interpersonal skills Typing speed of at least 25 WPM Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Comfortable handling back-to-back calls and reading from scripts Ability to work 8-hour shifts with proper equipment Technical Requirements
Windows 10 PC with 8GB RAM and dual-core processor USB wired headset Wired internet connection (80/15 Mbps minimum) Dual monitors Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 8am-1pm 40 hours/week; schedule may change Paid breaks and unpaid lunch Start date: September 2, 2025 Requirements
Minimum 1 year call center/customer service experience High School Diploma or equivalent Type at least 25 WPM Quiet workspace, pass background check, and drug test Additional Info
English required; bilingual encouraged. Entry level, full-time role with opportunities for growth.
