Business Development Officer - Marin County Area
Join the Redwood Credit Union team as a Business Development Officer focused on expanding membership and relationships throughout the Marin County area. This role leverages existing contacts, industry knowledge, and a proactive approach to drive new business and nurture existing segments. Key Responsibilities
Identify, attend, and present at sales events, trade shows, and local community gatherings to generate new business for Redwood Credit Union. Prospect, close, and manage new business opportunities within the Marin County region. Execute membership drives, sales events, and presentations at select employer group (SEG) locations and business development initiatives. Develop and support programs, promotions, and campaigns that market RCU products and services to SEGs and other audiences. Establish partnerships with employers, businesses, and organizations to promote Redwood Group products and services to employees, members, and affiliates. Maintain SEG database; record sales activities and ensure data accuracy. Mentor and support Branch Managers with business development activities and efforts. Contribute to the creation and execution of the Business Development Strategic Plan and annual budget. Qualifications
Advanced sales cycle knowledge and business development tactics. Strong understanding of financial institution products and market conditions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/Contact Management software. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. Strong organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking abilities. Team‑player with the ability to independently direct business development events. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Marin County. Benefits
Competitive salary range $85,924 – $101,088 annually with a 15% geographical differential. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and mental health offerings. 401(k) with employer match and employee performance incentive plan.
