Injection Tooling and New Product Development (NPD) Lead
to help shape the next generation of our Garden Furniture lineup. If you’re ready to take the lead in tool development and make your mark in a fast-moving, collaborative environment – let’s talk. In This Role, You’ll Have The Opportunity To
Guide new product tooling projects from the spark of an idea all the way into full production. Collaborate with global teams, designers, marketing experts, and operations leaders to bring ideas to life. Evaluate design simulations to ensure each tool and part is efficient and production-ready. Travel to vendors and support tool trials – you’ll see your work in action. Champion preventative maintenance programs and manage repair timelines to keep production running smoothly. Solve real problems with root cause analysis and drive safety, quality, and process improvements. Lead projects that make a difference using 5S, FMEA, and other lean tools. Own and evolve the ECN process to ensure design and production updates are clean, clear, and controlled. Requirements
What You Need To Succeed:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and design simulation tools like Mold Flow or FEA. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Skilled at managing projects and timelines – from small fixes to major launches. Experience in diagnosing issues and building long-term solutions. Familiarity with tooling equipment (CNC, EDM, mills, lathes, etc.). Required Education And Experience
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 10 years experience in injection tooling, tool design/build, or managing a tool room in a manufacturing environment. Clear and professional communication with domestic and international vendors. Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification is a strong plus, but not required. Seniority level
